         A little about me...
           I'm a native South   Carolinian.  My   mother's    and            
           father's families have been here since the 18th                    
           century.   My   ancestor   fought the British and my             
           great -grandfather  fought  in the  American  civil                 
           war.  Uncle John died in France in WWI, Dad was in WWII
and I in Vietnam.  My oldest son is now in Iraq.  So you see I
come from a long line of patriots.
I was born in a textile mill village ing Greenwood, SC but grew
up on a farmwhich my Dad share  cropped while working in a
textile mill.  After the Vietnam War I graduated from Clemson
University financed by the G. I. Bill, student loans and a
part-time job.

I've spent my working life in manufacturing and
retail business.  And, yes, I was once a small
business owner.
